PremierLeague-News.Com - Breaking Sport Transfer News ! Another 178 people have died after testing positive for coronavirus, with a 25-year-old among the grim tally. NHS data shows the number of patients who have now died in English hospitals after contracting the killer virus stands at 81,482. Five deaths were confirmed in the South West - the lowest total in the country. The Midlands confirmed the highest number of fatalities of 45. Patients were aged between 25 and 101 years old.

. Dates of deaths ranged from 2 January to 21 February, with the majority being on or after 18 February. The number of deaths of patients with Covid-19 by region are as follows: East of England - 33 London - 34 Midlands - 45 North East & Yorkshire - 26 North West - 14 South East – 21 South West - 5 One death was confirmed in Bath and North East Somerset on Sunday, while Mendip and Somerset West and Taunton each recorded two deaths. No deaths were recorded in Bristol, North Somerset, Gloucestershire or South Gloucestershire on February 21.
