PremierLeague-News.Com - Breaking Sport Transfer News ! A severe weather warning remains in place in the South West with the M48 Severn Bridge closed in both directions this morning. The Met Office has put southern England and much of Wales under a yellow alert for strong winds until 9am. These winds have seen the M48 Severn Bridge closed in both directions from junction 2 (A466 Wye Valley Link Road, Chepstow) to junction one for the A403 at Aust. Traffic is being diverted on to the M4 Prince of Wales bridge. The winds are due to calm as the day progresses, but will remain strong – although they won’t be as bad as they were on Monday. The Met Office says the South West is in for a chilly and unsettled day, with a mix of cloudy and sunny spells. There could also be some showers today. Some good news is that despite some heavy rain at times over the bank holiday weekend, there are no flood alerts or warnings in place from the Environment Agency in the South West. Overnight, temperatures could fall to freezing.
