PremierLeague-News.Com - Breaking Sport Transfer News ! A bitter-ex attacked her former partner with a knife after flying into a blind rage over claims he previously tried to get into bed with her mum. Louise Murray, 40, subjected her ex and his new girlfriend to a campaign of social media abuse and threats prior to the incident of violence. Murray, of Trevenson Road in Newquay, appeared at Truro Crown Court for sentence having pleaded guilty previously to wounding. Prosecuting the case, Jason Beal described how Murray and victim in this case Adam Doxey had been together nine years and had two children before separating in December 2019. Mr Doxey formed a new relationship with Chantelle Adams and when Murray discovered this she “embarked upon a campaign of abuse” to both of them on social media. At one point police gave Murray words of advice but on February 20 last year Murray confronted Mr Doxey as he was unloading his van and started hitting him with items. Mr Beal said: “On March 17 Miss Adams was driving and passed a vehicle being driven by the defendant. The defendant recognised her and turned the vehicle around so she parked her vehicle at her place of work rather than outside her house. “Later that day Mr Doxey and Miss Adams were at Miss Adams’ address with her children. Mr Doxey received a number of calls from the defendant but chose not to answer. He told her to go away but she refused, accusing him of trying to get into bed with her mum. She then raised her hands and struck multiple blows to Mr Doxey.

. When police arrested Murray they found her with Mr Doxey’s dry blood on her hands. In interview she said she “didn’t give a f**k” and that she “didn’t do it good enough”. Mr Doxey was treated in hospital but suffered only minor injuries. Representing Murray, Ed Bailey said: “During 2019 she became downtrodden by what she said was Mr Doxey’s possessive and controlling behaviour. “She made the decision to move out whilst at a low ebb and for a while there maintained some decency but what made her hurt was Mr Doxey starting a new relationship with someone Miss Murray didn’t approve of without informing her.

“She accepts it was inappropriate to indulge in social media abuse but what triggered this incident was her mother’s disclosure that Mr Doxey had climbed into bed with her previously and made sexual advances. This was the catalyst for her losing her temper and grabbing the knife. “The intention was to cause damage to his car but she saw red when he emerged from the property. She bitterly regrets her cause of conduct and is receiving help to address her behaviour.” Sentencing, Recorder John Trevaskis described the facts of the case as “particularly disturbing” and “clearly a very frightening experience for everyone involved”. He said he was sentencing Murray on the facts and not further allegations made on both sides. Murray was given a one year prison sentence, suspended for two years and must complete a rehabilitation activity requirement. A restraining order was also put in place.
