PremierLeague-News.Com - Breaking Sport Transfer News ! More new coronavirus cases have been recorded across the Bristol region in the latest daily breakdown. Official figures released today (Thursday, May 13) identify another 29 cases in the West of England area in the most recent 24-hour period - up from yesterday's figure of 18. In her latest update issued today, Christina Gray, Bristol's director of public health, said: "Bristol’s current rate of infection is 10 new cases per 100,000 population (data up until and including May 7). England’s infection rate is currently 22 new cases per 100,000. It is positive to see the background rate of infection dropping, but the situation remains fragile. "We must continue to be vigilant and remember: hands, face, space, fresh air." She added that 207,974 people - 48 per cent of all eligible Bristol residents aged over 16 - have received one or more doses of the Covid vaccine, saying: "The national vaccination programme is now open to those aged over 38 years old.
