PremierLeague-News.Com - Breaking Sport Transfer News ! Bristol City fans will flock to the Three Lions pub for the annual Flag Day today (Saturday, August 6) to celebrate the beginning of the new season. The event has been going for more than 20 years and is becoming increasingly popular year upon year. The first event saw around 20 people show their colours while thousands now flock to West Street to celebrate the season's curtain-raiser at Ashton Gate. What's more, it's not only a chance to 'put on a show outside the pub in Bedminster and a way of bringing a community together, but is also an opportunity to pay tribute to Bristol City supporters who have passed away'. Fans look set to begin gathering from around 12pm today, before the main event kicks off at 1pm. The pub's landlord, Sean Donnelly, previously told Bristol Live: "It's a celebration of the start of the season and there's a ridiculous amount of people come.
