. Her housemate who stepped outside for a cigarette only part-clothed was reportedly met with drones hovering in front of him. The woman, who asked not to be named, said: “The whole street was cordoned off. Police were in our garden and next door’s garden. "About 6am I got woken up to loads of policemen shouting, ‘get on the floor’ and flashing lights everywhere. I looked out the window and saw two men on the floor." She said her housemate reported seeing people "crawling and creeping around the back of the summer house" in their garden. She added: "There were drones going around and our housemate said he’d gone out at one point just to see what was going on and have a cigarette. “He said that two drones just came down and were hovering in front of him for a little while. He didn’t really know what to do so he put his hands up, apparently he was just in his boxers as well. “He said it went on for a couple of hours with people quietly creeping around the gardens, he didn’t know whether it was the police or the men hiding.” All cordons have since been removed but there is still a police presence on the street. Neighbourhood Inspector Cath Leigh said: "We'd to thank residents for their patience and understanding on being disturbed in the middle of the night. We'll have neighbourhood officers in the area today and I'd urge anyone with any specific concerns about what's happened to speak to them."
