All too often this type of crime pops up on the court lists in the county and in some cases can have tragic impacts. The cases below are the drivers who have been convicted for drink-driving in the past month: OMAR BROWN, 39, of Oxford Road, Newbury, admitted drink-driving in Oxford Road, Newbury, on March 22, 2021. Found to have 56mcg of alcohol in 100ml of alcohol, the legal limit being 35mcg. Fined £200. Also ordered to pay £34 victim surcharge and £85 court costs. Disqualified from driving 36 months. DARIUSZ MADEJ, 47, of Liddell Way, Ascot, admitted drink-driving in Windsor Road, Ascot, on January 12, 2021. Found to hae 111mcg of alcohol in 100ml of breath, the legal limit being 35mcg. Given a community order to comply with rehabilitation activity and must undertake 200 hours unpaid work. Also ordered to pay £95 victim surcharge and £85 court costs. Disqualified from driving for 36 months. PAWEL LYKO, 40, of Denbury Gardens, Reading, admitted drink-driving in Ancells Road, Fleet, on February 9, 2021. Found to have 102mcg of alcohol in 100ml of breath, the legal limit being 35mcg. Given a community order to comply with rehabilitation activity and must undertake 55 hours of unpaid work. Also ordered to pay £95 victim surcharge and £85 court costs. Disqualified from driving for 25 months. SEAN OFLYNN, 53, of Haywards Mead, Windsor, admitted drink-driving in Hatchet Lane, Ascot, on October 29, 2020. Found to have 112mcg of alcohol in 100ml of breath, the legal limit being 35mcg. Given a community order to carry out 165 hours unpaid work. Also ordered to pay £95 victim surcharge and £85 court costs. Also admitted drug-driving on the same occasion after being found with cocaine in his blood. Fined £270. Also ordered to pay £34 victim surcharge and £85 court costs. Disqualified from driving for 18 months.
