Neighbourhoods in the county have seen cases jump up, compared to the week before. The most recent Public Health England data shows the picture in the seven days to May 8, compared to the seven days to May 1. Analysis of this local data has found that the majority of areas which have seen a rise in cases have only seen slight increases - between one and three new cases. Although these areas have seen a rise, the majority of postcode areas across the region are thankfully continuing to see a steady decline in Covid cases.
