PremierLeague-News.Com - Breaking Sport Transfer News ! Wolverhampton Wanderers have confirmed that defender Ki-Jana Hoever has joined Dutch club PSV Eindhoven on loan for the 2022/23 campaign. Hoever. 20, was signed by Wolves in 2020 from Liverpool in a deal worth up to £8.8million but will now return to Holland, where he had spells throughout his youth development with AZ and Ajax. The young defender will be joining an impressive PSV side who enjoyed a successful run throughout the Europa League last season whilst also competing in the domestic league after finishing second, just two points behind winners Ajax. In a statement released by Wolves this morning, strategic player marketing manager Matt Jackson said: “You can’t have young players not playing regular football for too long and he’s too much of a talent not to be playing every week. He’s gone to a magnificent football club, who play in Europe, so we’re delighted with how that’s going to progress him and hopefully he’ll help PSV be competitive, chasing Ajax down at the top. . It’s a great place to live and is Ki-Jana’s home country. “There’s big club pressure which we like to challenge the lads with and he’ll experience that. He could have played in England, we had offers, but with the stature of club and competitions they’re in, it can provide fantastic experiences. “As professional footballers, you want to play every week. It’s the game you love and it’s hard to be a squad player – not playing regular football is frustrating. We want players to have the opportunity to progress and show they’re good enough to play every week in the Premier League, and Ki-Jana has that ability.” READ NEXT: Why Bruno Lage and Ki-Jana Hoever's relationship reached boiling point at Wolves Scott Sellars reveal explains Wolves plan for Enzo Fernandez and Gabriel Barbosa Enzo Fernandez has admitted his 'dream' transfer amid Wolves interest Check out all the latest Wolves news from BirminghamLive Sign up for our free daily Wolves newsletter
