Public Health Scotland confirmed 2 further deaths, with zero in Northern Ireland. NHS England recorded a further seven deaths - down from 12 last Friday, 14 a fortnight ago and 19 three weeks ago. The deaths included three in the North East and Yorkshire, one in the North West, one in London and one in the South West. Walsall registered one death - the only one in the Midlands. In Wales, around one in 4,230 is estimated to have had Covid-19 in the week to May 8 - down from one in 2,070 in the previous week, and the lowest since ONS estimates began in late July 2020. In Northern Ireland, the estimate is around one in 1,430 people, down from one in 750 in the previous week.
