'Deaf and proud' Mohammed Tabib was a regular fixture on the Soho Road, where residents knew him as a 'local treasure'. He was affectionately known by just his surname and would frequently travel around the region on the bus network, including in the Black Country. Tabib, who lived alone, often stayed with his elderly parents who have been left devastated by his sudden death on Monday, January 11. He is believed to have suffered a heart attack.
