. An artist impression of how a proposed block of flats will look near The Bell Inn on The Green, Bloxwich. PIC: Architectural Solutions (Midlands) Limited "We propose a development over three floors, which is not out of scale with the existing three storey block of flats adjacent, and also not over bearing onto the adjacent public house and its outdoor garden area. "Although the proposals are now for nine flats, the footprint of the development is not dis-similar to that of the previously approved scheme. "The proposal represents a policy compliant scheme which is an appropriate form of development on previously developed land within an urban area which would provide much needed housing. "The proposal would not be harmful to the character and appearance of the area and would preserve or enhance the Conservation Area. "The proposed development would not be detrimental to residential amenity and would make adequate provision for off street parking and would not be prejudicial to highway safety."
