McDonald's announces ban coming into effect at UK restaurants from June
Mixed reaction to McDonald's plans to take over Brownhills Police Station
Another change coming in at McDonald's restaurants in June is a ban on 'free hot drink' stickers on cups. The fast-food chain said the initiative would be replaced by a new digital version this summer. Customers are currently given the chance to rack up six stickers for a free hot drink of their choice - but in June, that will stop. Customers will instead collect rewards on the My McDonald’s App. McDonald’s said: “We’re giving customers three months notice to collect and use the stickers - we’ll communicate more information on the physical stickers nearer the end date.”
