PremierLeague-News.Com - Breaking Sport Transfer News ! Coronavirus rates have continued to fall across the West Midlands - but rates still vary. North Warwickshire and Wolverhampton presently have the highest Covid-19 rates in the West Midlands, according to latest data. Meanwhile, the rate in Birmingham fell sharply over a seven-day period and now stands at 38. That is below all four Black Country boroughs - with Dudley, Walsall and Sandwell also higher on the list. The figures, for the seven days to April 4, are based on tests carried out in laboratories (pillar one of the Government's testing programme) and in the wider community (pillar two). The rate is expressed as the number of new cases per 100,000 people. Data for the most recent four days (April 5-8) has been excluded as it is incomplete and does not reflect the true number of cases.
