PremierLeague-News.Com - Breaking Sport Transfer News ! Eleven suspects have been arrested after a £160,000 cash and drugs find following raids in Staffordshire, the Black Country and Derbyshire. Raids were conducted by Staffordshire Police officers, supported by the National Crime Agency staff at addresses in Tamworth, Walsall, Burntwood and Swadlincote on Thursday (June 23) concerning a drugs supply in Tamworth. Officers discovered £100,000 in cash as well as £60,000 worth of suspected Class A and B drugs which were seized. Six men and a woman from Tamworth were arrested, two men from Walsall, one from Burntwood and one from Swadlincote, with ages ranging from 24 to 58. Detective Inspector Tim Boulton, from the Staffordshire Police force’s Major and Organised Crime Unit, said: “The raids we carried out on Thursday are part of an extensive, on-going operation, set up to tackle drug supply in Tamworth. The combined value of cash and drugs officers recovered as part of this operation provides some insight into the scale of organised crime we've been able to disrupt. “I hope the results we have already seen serves as a warning to those involved in this type of crime. Information and intelligence from our communities is key and, if you report your concerns, then we will take action.” Read more: Con Air - Criminals who tried to escape justice by fleeing UK The arrests included: A 29-year-old man from Tamworth was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply Class A and Class B drugs. A 31-year-old man from Tamworth was arrested on suspicion of supplying Class A drugs. A 24-year-old man from Burntwood and 28-year-old man from Walsall was arrested on suspicion of supplying Class B drugs.

Two men one 34 and another 35 from Tamworth were arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of Class B drugs. Three men, a 35-year-old man from Walsall, a 35-year-old from Tamworth and a 40-year-old from Swadlincote were all arrested on suspicion of supplying Class B drugs. While one woman, a 58-year-old woman from Tamworth, was also arrested on suspicion of money laundering. They all remain in police custody.
