The Dudley Group NHS Foundation Trust will appear at Dudley Magistrates’ Court tomorrow (Wednesday, 7 April) to respond to the prosecution brought by the health watchdog the Care Quality Commission (CQC). The case is connected to the deaths of two patients - one of them, Natalie Billingham, 33, from Tipton, was a mum of six who died from a form of sepsis after going to A&E in March 2018. The second patient involved was Kaysie-Jane Bland, from Netherton. The trust faces two alleged breaches of regulation 22 and 12 of the Health and Social Care Act 2008 (Regulated Activities) Regulations 2014.
