PremierLeague-News.Com - Breaking Sport Transfer News ! Aston Villa will have to make a ‘sizeable offer’ to Burnley for centre-back Nathan Collins should they wish to complete a transfer this summer. The 21-year-old started 18 games in his first season in the Premier League after moving to Turf Moor from Stoke City last summer. Despite impressing with his performances, he couldn’t help the Clarets avoid relegation to the Championship on the final day of the season last month. Reports have linked Collins with a summer move back to the Premier League, just 12 months after arriving at Burnley. Villa, along with Leeds United and Wolverhampton Wanderers are all said to be ‘monitoring’ the player’s situation this summer. But, it seems that Burnley could put up a fight in order to keep Collins at the club for next season. LancashireLive report that the player’s lengthy contract means that only a ‘sizeable offer’ from clubs would cause Burnley to consider cashing in on the player this summer. The club paid a fee of £12.

. Former Manchester City captain Vincent Kompany has recently been confirmed as the new head coach at Turf Moor, and the Belgian will want to work with Collins next season. The player himself is looking forward to working under the new boss. “He’s a natural leader, isn’t he? He was a top player and has done it at the top level,” he said. “He has shown that over many years, and everyone knows how good a manager he is too. He has done a really good job with Anderlecht and I think he is a really top guy, from the outside anyway.” Collins did though say that he’s unsure what the summer holds for him in terms of a transfer away from Turf Moor. “Who knows? I don’t know myself,” he answered. Would you like to see Villa make a summer move for Collins? Tell us in the comments section.
