Firearms cops, neighbourhood officers and the dogs team all responded after young males were allegedly seen armed with weapons in Chelmsley Wood. A marked police car could be seen blocking off part of the road in Coralin Close during the trouble on Saturday evening, May 1. Police said they chased the youths on foot before a number of males were detained. A knife, shown in a photo shared to Twitter, was also discovered and seized by the officers. An investigation into the knife recovery is ongoing. The officers took to Twitter to share news of the arrest and foot chase.
