PremierLeague-News.Com - Breaking Sport Transfer News ! Aston Villa youngster Aaron Ramsey is hoping to emulate his brother Jacob after sealing a loan switch to Norwich City. The 19-year-old signed a contract extension at Villa Park before completing a move to Carrow Road where the attacking midfielder will be looking to prove himself in the Championship. The teenager was recently part of Villa ’s pre-season squad, shortly after helping England to glory in the U19 European Championships, where he scored in the final. After making his Villa debut in the League Cup last season, Ramsey spent time on loan at Cheltenham Town in League One. Despite now stepping up to the second tier, Ramsey is confident that he will thrive at Carrow Road after linking up with former Villa boss Dean Smith . . I’ve never played at Carrow Road before, but I can’t wait to play in front of the fans and show what I’m about." Ramsey is yet another example of the wealth of home-grown talent being nurtured within Villa’s academy. Though comparisons to his older sibling are inevitable, Aaron has forged an impressive reputation of his own, having helped captain the side that won the 2021 Youth Cup and recently winning the Euros alongside Villa teammate Tim Iroegbunam. The academy starlet also has plenty of examples of how to succeed on loan, including his brother’s temporary switch to Doncaster Rovers. Academy teammate Kaine Kesler Hayden is around the Villa first team after thriving away from B6, with Cameron Archer enjoying similar success at Preston last season.
