PremierLeague-News.Com - Breaking Sport Transfer News ! A woman was cared for by South Central Ambulance Service after a fire on the ground floor of a boathouse in Caversham Heights. It is unclear the extent of her injuries, however, the blaze at The Warren in Caversham Heights required multiple fire crews in attendance to extinguish it. Crews were at the scene for just over four hours after being called at 12:11pm on Sunday April 4. Firefighters remained at the property all day to ensure that there were no hot spots and the area was safe. The fire started on the ground floor of the boathouse and caused damage to the first and second floors too. "Additionally the Four Wheel Drive Pump and Incident Command Unit from Maidenhead, specialist boats from Caversham Road and the Operational Support Unit from Whitley Wood attended the incident. "Six firefighters wearing breathing apparatus worked to extinguish the fire using three hose reels, with a main jet and working at height equipment also used. One woman was placed into the care of South Central Ambulance Service. "The Environment Agency and Thames Valley Police also attended to assist with resolving the incident."
