A woman who died after an incident in Thatcham has been described as "a mother who always put her children before herself" in a emotional tribute from her family. Police have named 43-year-old Emma McArthur as the woman who died after being found with 'significant injuries' in Crookham Hill, Thatcham, on Thursday, April 1. Her family have paid an emotional tribute to her on Tuesday as a police murder investigation continues. In a statement issued through Thames Valley Police, they said: "Darling Emma, “Spiritual, spontaneous and a free spirit – with a love of mother nature especially animals and the outdoors. He appeared at Reading Magistrates Court on Monday, April 5, and made a short appearance at Reading Crown Court on Tuesday, April 6.
