The jam-packed mini-break away from work saw Brits celebrate the Queen's Platinum Jubilee. Up and down the country people hung Union Jacks high, and the roads were filled with the hustle and bustle of people enjoying street parties. It was even more perfect as people were able to get their sun cream out due to some glorious sunshine, despite there being a few yellow weather warnings issued. However, it has left people wondering when the next set of days off are and how many are left in the year. It has seemed like we have bagged quite a few days off recently. . When is the next bank holiday in 2022? We will not be seeing a bank holiday for a while. The next bank holiday in 2022 falls on Monday, August 29 this year. This is officially knowns as the 'Summer Bank Holiday'. The following day off is not until Boxing Day which is Monday, December 26. Due to Christmas Day falling on a Sunday this year we will be having a bank holiday on Tuesday, December 27. Brits have been quite lucky this year as we had an extra bank holiday thanks to the Queen's Jubilee.
