PremierLeague-News.Com - Breaking Sport Transfer News ! Reading FC supporters have spotted a quirk in the club's Championship fixture list for the 2022/23 season. Royals start the season with the long trek to the seaside to take on Blackpool at Bloomfield Road on Saturday, July 30. The campaign starts a week earlier than normal this year due to the World Cup taking place in Qatar in November. READ MORE: Reading's fixtures for 2022/23 Championship released Paul Ince's side go on to face Cardiff City, Rotherham United, Blackburn Rovers, Middlesbrough, Millwall and Sheffield United in the first full month of games. Fans seem to be pretty pleased with the fixture list overall, with the long away trips nicely spread out and a home game on Boxing Day against Swansea City. However, one thing some have noticed is that Paul Ince's side start and end the season away from home.
