The popular store will be reopening its doors on Thursday, June 23 with a new look. The budget supermarket in Vastern Court, Reading closed on June 17 for a refurbishment to make shopping easier for customers. The new layout is customer-focused which is part of Aldi's £600m investment into improving stores and services. Opening on Thursday, June 23 at 8am, the fresh look will reveal the new layout allowing products to be found easier while customers browse new ranges. The Aldi store stands at 960 square meters of retail space featuring increased space and new and improved Food to Go section.

. Project Fresh renovations have been taking place since 2018. The space has been given clearer signs to make shopping more simple with fresh bread and cakes being moved to the last aisle to prevent them from being squashed and providing easier ways of browsing freezers. The Aldi already employs 27 members of the local community - the refurbishment will create additional jobs. Aldi Store Manager Benjamin Cope said: “The store is looking fantastic, and we can’t wait to welcome our loyal customers back so they can see it for themselves.
