The Royals are facing a summer of uncertainty with speculation over the future of some of the club's key players, while Veljko Paunovic is set for a rebuild of his squad having missed out on the Championship play-offs. But with the club's financial difficulties well documented, not to mention the effect of the pandemic, there is not a lot of money around for Reading to spend this summer, and Paunovic has admitted that the club may be looking for loan deals and free transfers in the next transfer window. Reading have confirmed that 19 players will be leaving the club this summer, with Sone Aluko, Sam Baldock, and Sam Walker among those who are set to depart.
