PremierLeague-News.Com - Breaking Sport Transfer News ! Manager Paul Ince has ruled new Reading FC midfielder Mamadou Loum out of this Saturday's clash with Cardiff City. Royals host the Bluebirds in their first home game of the new season this weekend at the Select Car Leasing Stadium. They will be without Loum, however, who is still awaiting his debut for the club having joined a week ago on a season-long loan deal from FC Porto. READ MORE: Paul Ince issues update on Reading's pursuit of Naby Sarr It is understood Loum has been given international clearance to play for Reading, but speaking in his pre-match press conference on Thursday morning, Ince confirmed the player is now awaiting the correct visa to pull on the blue and white hoops. "With Loum - he hasn't got his visa done yet so he has to go to London on Sunday to get that done and hopefully he'll be able to play on Tuesday against Stevenage (in the first round of the Carabao Cup)," said Ince. "It's very frustrating because he looks good in training but we can't play him. Everything is in order with him, it's just a case of his visa.

. The free agent centre-back is close to sealing a permanent deal with Royals but the move is being held up by the English Football League (EFL) who need to give it the green light. Ince and the club have been waiting almost two weeks for the transfer to be approved and the manager says he hopes by next week it will be done. Ex Huddersfield Town man Sarr would be the 10th signing of the summer and although nine new faces have come through the door since the end of last season, Ince warned: "We're nowhere near where we want to be as a team and as a squad. But we need to get going because there is not long before the window shuts." BerkshireLive will have full coverage of Reading against Cardiff on Saturday afternoon. Our build-up starts at 12pm and kick-off is at 3pm.
