PremierLeague-News.Com - Breaking Sport Transfer News ! A major change in the boadroom at Chelsea could have a knock-on effect when it comes to Reading FC's transfer policy. Blues director Marina Granovskaia is stepping down from her role, having been on the club's board for the past nine years. The Russian-Canadian businesswoman has been Chelsea's figurehead for transfers, contracts and sponsorship deals for a number of years. That has included the overseeing of a number of deals involving the London club and Reading, with players moving to Royals on loan deals. Both players made big impacts during their stint in the Championship and helped the club to survival. Prior to that, Matt Miazga and Lewis Baker made the short trip down the M4 from west London to the Select Car Leasing Stadium and going further back, Lucas Piazon, Michael Hector, Nathan Ake and Nathaniel Chalobah all had loan spells at Reading from Chelsea.

. Granovskaia is due to see out the current transfer window before moving aside amid new ownership at Stamford Bridge. Co-owner Todd Boehly said: "We thank Marina for her many years of excellent service to the club and wish her all the best in her future ventures." It remains to be seen how much of an impact Granovskaia's exit will have on Reading, but the latter will certainly be hoping to continue their successful partnership with Chelsea following the takeover. Royals, who have been linked with another move for Rahman in the transfer window, have made two signings to date. After picking up Joe Lumley on a season-long loan deal from Middlesbrough, they have also signed free agent Tom Ince on a three-year deal.
