PremierLeague-News.Com - Breaking Sport Transfer News ! A man was rescued by firefighters and taken to hospital after a three-car crash in Reading. Emergency service teams were called to the incident in Kings Road at around 5.20pm on Tuesday, April 6. The incident involved three cars and left part of the busy road closed, which led to long queues around the town. Fire crews from Caversham Road, Wokingham Road and Dee Road fire stations all attended the scene.

. A spokesman for SCAS said the man told the firefighters he had neck and back pain so was taken to Royal Berkshire Hospital for further treatment. The rescue operation took the fire crews 37 minutes, and the crash left two lanes and part of the bus lane in the road closed. The closure meant buses were diverted during the operation. Parts of the road were closed for around two hours following the incident.
