The latest Covid-19 rolling infection rates for every area of Berkshire have been revealed - ahead of Prime Minister Boris Johnson announcing his road map for England leaving lockdown on Monday. Figures released by Public Health England on Sunday afternoon cover the seven days up to February 16. Of the six local authority areas that make up Berkshire only Slough continues to have a rolling infection rate above 200 per 100,000 people. Slough Borough had 321 new coronavirus cases confirmed over the course of those seven days - giving it a rolling infection rate of 214.7. The Reading Borough Council area had the second highest infection rate - at 175 new cases and a 108.2 infection rate. Bracknell Forest had the third highest at 107.7 from 132 new coronavirus cases. West Berkshire continues to hover at just over 100 per 100,000.  The area had 159 new cases confirmed in those seven days - giving it a rolling infection rate of 100.

The Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead had a rolling infection rate of 69.3 - the second lowest in the county - giving it a rolling rate of 69.3. Wokingham Borough had an infection rate of 54.3, the lowest in the county, with just 93 new cases confirmed in that area in seven days.
