PremierLeague-News.Com - Breaking Sport Transfer News ! From the humble birthday balloon to the air-filled mattress, there's no end to the fun that can be had by inflating things. And one venue in Berkshire is planning to take inflatable fun to another level when it opens its latest assault course next month. Lagoona Park already boasts the longest inflatable watercourse in the world and now the attraction is about to get bigger, better and even bouncier with the addition of a land-based alternative. And, in keeping with the founder's bigger is better mantra it will be the longest permanent land-based inflatable course in the UK. Thrill-seekers will be able to climb, crawl, slide, jump and bounce their way around a variety of obstacles, but without the worry of falling into the water. It is the latest addition to the Reading-based park which after nearly twenty years is no longer offering jet ski facilities. Instead, the site has been revamped to provide paddle boarding, water bikes and pedal boat areas along with inflatable water rides. “It is very exciting,” said Richard Wilmot at Lagoona. “It is about people being able to come all day and experience a fun-filled time with family and friends on all the activities. "There are other large travelling inflatable parks in the UK, but this will be different.

. "It gives people another option if they don’t want to get wet. It is a similar concept to the aqua park but on land.” Lagoona has free parking and free entry to the site when re-opening on May 1, so everyone can enjoy the facilities, with water sport activities costs starting at £8. At 320 square metres, the aqua park is massive and includes inflatable slides, obstacles and climbing walls making it a great experience whatever your age and is available from 6 years of age, with under 8’s being accompanied by an adult. The water inflatable course is set on a 25-acre freshwater lake that is also used for the other water-based activities on-site and there are changing rooms, toilets, lockers & wetsuit hire available downstairs in the clubhouse. With views across the lake, the bar and grill is ideal for all sorts of functions including late-night parties (Image: Lagoona Park) During an action-packed or restful day, guests can recharge their batteries at the bar and grill located upstairs in the main clubhouse, which serves hot and cold food and drinks with a large balcony providing gorgeous views of the lake, making this location ideal for all sorts of functions and is available for evening private hire from 7pm to 2am. New for 2021 the outside area has been expanded creating more seating areas, including an outside bar, food outlet and toilets. Music and television areas will also create a great space to spend more time relaxing and having fun and providing a fabulous venue for outside private hire.
